There are plenty of rallies to appeal to everyone — whether you are a family or just the two of you.

I would like to start with thanking the membership for all your support over the last twelve months, also giving me the opportunity to serve as your Chairman for a third year.  

Let's continue the 2009 feel good factor through the winter rallies and continue this spirit into the 2010 season. Lots of members pulled together to make last year very special, if we are lucky to keep this momentum going the Herts Centre's friendship can grow even bigger and last even longer in to the future. 

I will do my best to look after the Centre with the help of a very strong committee.  We have some new members standing on the Committee bringing a wealth of experience with them. Let's hope we can work the team spirit again this year throughout the rally field.  Most of you know I will carry on promoting family activities, but not forgetting the members range from nought to ninety and everyone needs to get enjoyment out of rallying with Herts.

With the 2010 programme well under way, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all rally officers and assistants in advance for volunteering to give up their time to organize various ideas of our weekends. Lots of good ideas are in the 2010 programme, this I hope will bring old and new members out on the rally field this season.

During the last two years our chosen Charity was the Herts Air Ambulance we just given them a huge cheque of £2,500. Shortly we will be announcing the new charity that the Centre will be supporting for the next years 

My theme as always is to put  L.I.F.E  into a centre which is very close to our hearts 

             Leisure.   Interest.  Friendship.  Enjoyment

May you all make many friends on and around the rally field.

Now we are into 2010 and the winter rallying season is with us,  we can now look forward to the parties , fun of the season and hopefully the barbeque summer we missed out on last year .
