Welcome to the official website dedicated to the Hertfordshire Centre of the Caravan Club. The Caravan Club supports a national network of 10 regions/ Divisions and 70 Centres to promote caravanning at a local

level, one of which is the Hertfordshire Centre.

The  Hertfordshire Centre was formed in 1958. Each Centre is run by a committee and organizes caravan rallies (gatherings!)  and social events virtually

every weekend of the year. 

 

The Hertfordshire Centre would be

pleased to welcome  members and

non-members of the Centre to any of their rallies listed in the 2009  Programme.

For those who need to understand Caravan rallying it is best described

as a

 social club on wheels even if your towing or driving your holiday home.

the Hertfordshire Centre.Members of various caravan clubs meet

weekends at prearranged venues to enjoy the freedom of Rallying

 in a Caravan, Motor home or Trailer Tent.

 

Caravan Club membership is for people with caravans, motor caravans or 
trailer tents.
 
Founded in 1907 the Caravan Club currently has over 300,000 member 
famiies and a network of over 200 sites in the British Isles. 
 
In addition there are 3000 Certificated Locations which are small privately
-owned sites taking no more than five vans at a time.
 
The Club offers a full range of services and benefits to members, including 
technical
advice, roadside assistance/recovery, courses, insurance and travel 
arrangements for holidays in the United Kingdom and in Europe.
